Hi! I used a .TXT file containing all the holidays for the year. Its working ok until I distributed the report. On the user's PC it prompts that it cannot find the .txt file. But I have already saved the file in the correct directory.
Anyone here encountered the same scenario? Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.It works fine with me
Check the path , what it is showing in database expert..
try accesing ur file from network folder, is other option.|||Did you add the file in the distribution expert? Its working in my PC but when installed to another it keeps on telling me that it cant find the TXT file.
I have checked several times and the path is correct.
Help!|||This is the exact error message that I get:
Error in File C:\Program Files\Seagate Software\Distributed Reports\WorkingDays.rpt:
Error in Formula <working days>.
'wdaysClass1wdLoadFile("C:\Holidays.txt");
'
The remaining text does not appear to be part of the formula.
Hope you can help me with this.
Thanks in advance.|||If i am not wrong i think, u r doing it from front end
but i used Access/Excel (DAO) to make the report. where u can select database type as text.
